Frequently asked questions

How much does a massage cost?

A 30-minute massage is $75, 60 minutes is $120, and 90 minutes is $160. Hot stone and pregnancy massage come in 30- and 60-minute sessions at the same prices.

How do I book?

You can book online at any time, or call (513) 273-1175.

What's the difference between Swedish and deep tissue massage?

Swedish massage uses lighter pressure and is mostly about relaxing. Deep tissue uses firmer pressure to reach deeper muscles. Many sessions use some of both, depending on what you need.

Will a deep tissue massage hurt?

It can feel intense at times, but it shouldn't hurt. Tell Hilary any time you'd like more or less pressure. Some people feel a little sore for a day or two afterward, a lot like after a good workout.

What happens at my first visit?

Hilary will ask a few questions about your health, any sore spots, and the kind of pressure you like. You undress to your comfort level and stay covered with a sheet the whole time, except for the area she's working on.

When can I book a pregnancy massage?

Because of nausea concerns and heightened sensitivity to scents, we recommend waiting until after your first trimester (14 weeks) to book your massage.

Do you take insurance, HSA, or FSA?

We don't bill insurance directly, but we do accept HSA and FSA cards. If you want to submit to your insurance yourself, ask for an itemized receipt (a superbill) with the codes they'll need. Some plans also want a prescription from your doctor or chiropractor, so check with yours first.

What if I need to cancel?

Please give at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule, so someone else can have the time. It also helps to arrive 5 to 10 minutes early.

Where are you, and is there parking?

We're at 5958 Fairfield Road in Oxford, a few minutes from Miami's campus. There's free parking on site.
